-Excellent sense of humour, with an approachable, easy-going demeanour, focusing on the students own interests and skills in artmaking
-Extensive knowledge of the frames, conceptual framework, and artists practice

Experience

I have been a Secondary Visual Arts(years 7-12)and Visual Design(years 11&12) for 22 years, with a Fine Arts BA majoring in printmaking and art history, and a minor in drawing. I have had my artworks published several times over these years of teaching and I was the first winner of the icare Shine Art Prize. Many of my ex-students are now secondary teachers themselves and my students were among my last schools(20 years in that permanent position) highest scoring in HSC Visual Arts exams and BOWs.
