My approach to tutoring focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while also improving exam performance. I believe students perform best when they truly understand the “why” behind concepts rather than just memorising methods.

In my lessons, I usually start with a quick review of previous topics to reinforce learning, followed by a clear explanation of the current concept using simple, step-by-step methods. I then guide students through practice questions, gradually increasing difficulty, and finally include exam-style problems to build confidence and accuracy under test conditions.

I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s needs, whether they require more visual explanations, repetition, or problem-solving practice. I also focus on creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions.

A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, which I find ideal for maintaining focus while covering sufficient material. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

I am currently a Computer Science student at Monash University with a strong background in Mathematics and Physics. Having recently studied these subjects myself, I understand common student challenges and how to overcome them effectively.

My lessons are primarily for students from Year 7 to Year 10, particularly those looking to strengthen their fundamentals, improve their grades, or gain confidence in Maths (and Physics if applicable).

I have graduated from Cambridge Advanced level with 4 of the top 5 toughest considered subjects and currently studying Bachelor of Computer Science at Monash University as an International student.
