I really enjoy tutoring because it’s great to see students gain confidence, start understanding concepts that once felt difficult, and help them achieve their goals. I tutor a wide range of maths, including primary school basics, high school topics like algebra, calculus, and statistics, as well as some university-level maths such as linear algebra and calculus.

I keep my tutoring flexible and tailored to each student, focusing on what they need most. I aim to explain concepts clearly, break things down step by step, and summarise key concepts each lessons. I like to include plenty of examples, go through new concepts together before practising with questions, and give feedback along the way to make sure everything makes sense.

• More than 16 years experiences teaching Mathematics in primary school, high school and private tutor centre; worked as Mathematics Society advisor in participating international mathematics competition; I have more than 1000 students within 16 years.
• Provide private help and group study especially in examination, assignment, homework, tutorial and materials for past exam papers.
• Well-equipped with English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese and Hokkien communication skills and having great skill in explaining the difficult concepts.
• My teaching style is focus on marking criteria in order to get a good grade in assignment and examination.

Rates

• Individual: $45/hour for Year 7 & Year 8 maths subjects. $50/hour for Year 9 & Year 10 maths subject. $60/hour for Year 11 & Year 12 General Maths, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths and university 1st year courses. $80/hour for 2nd year courses, $100/hour for 3rd year, $120/hour for 4th year and postgraduate courses.
• Group: $100/hour+ for 2+ person (only available for Year 11, Year 12, 1st and 2nd year courses).
• Travel to student's place: extra fuel cost $5 for each trip
