Hi, I'm Olivia, a Wollongong-based tutor with a Bachelor of Ancient History and Philosophy from Macquarie University, where I graduated with High Distinction and the highest grade in my entire cohort for my research project and internship.

I studied Ancient History through high school as well, so I understand the subject from both sides.

My specialist areas include:
- Ancient Egypt, Rome, Greece, Mesopotamia and the Near East
- Ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern art, archaeology and material culture
- Pompeii and Herculaneum - Historical conservation and museum studies
- Philosophy — with a focus on Plato and Aristotle; or more modern concepts such as mind-body arguments, consciousness and the soul, psychology, justice and morals
- Research specialisations in Egyptian jewellery, childhood in the ancient world, and ancient artistic expression

I help students engage deeply with historical content, construct strong arguments, and write with clarity and confidence across all humanities subjects.

I have a Bachelors degree in Ancient history and Philosophy, and have specialised research in ancient Egyptian jewellery and childhood as part of an internship in my final year.
