Perth tutor in Acting, Creative Writing, English, English Literature, Essay Writing, Reading, Study Skills

My approach to tutoring is different — and that’s why it works.

I don’t focus on endless essays or excessive exam practice. Instead, I develop personalised strategies tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, giving them the tools to achieve the results they’re aiming for.

Lessons are available in person or online (1–2 hours) and are discussion-based, using “thought tanks” to build deeper understanding of studied texts.

After setting clear goals, I design targeted sessions that may include:
• Close reading
• Essay preparation
• Assessment and test review
• Mini-lectures and guided discussion

Every student I’ve worked with has achieved the goal they set in their first session.

I currently have space for three more students.

I offer tutoring for:
• Year 11 & 12 English ATAR
• Year 11 & 12 Literature ATAR
• Year 10 (pre-ATAR)

If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out — I’m happy to answer any questions.
