Primary School Tutor | Supportive, Engaging and Personalised Lessons

Hi, I’m Jack, a teaching student with experience working with children through both education and coaching. I offer tutoring for primary school students in English, Maths, homework support, and general confidence building. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to improve.

I am available every weekday afternoon and evening, as well as Saturday mornings. Lessons can take place online or at the student’s home, depending on what suits your family best. I can be contacted via email or phone; my email address is jackdistefanotutor@gmail.com.

As a teaching student and basketball coach, I have developed strong communication, patience, and mentoring skills, which I bring into every lesson. I enjoy tutoring because I love helping students grow in confidence and seeing them make progress in areas they once found challenging.

My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs and may include help with homework, revision of school content, skill-building activities, and structured practice in English and Maths. I can also provide worksheets, notes, and additional resources to support learning between sessions.

I am passionate about helping students feel more confident in themselves and their learning, and I aim to make each session productive, engaging, and supportive.

Experience

I am a third year Bachelor of Education student, and I have always had a real passion for working with young students and helping them feel more confident in their learning.

I have completed teaching placements, and am a junior basketball coach, and through these opportunities, have had the chance to work closely with children of all different abilities. I have seen first-hand how much of a difference the right support and encouragement can make.
