Masters in Finance (ongoing) — University of Adelaide

About me:
I am currently pursuing my Masters in Finance at the University of Adelaide. I have cleared the CAT (one of India's most competitive entrance exams) and hold an IELTS certification. I have experience tutoring multiple students aged 10–17 across school subjects and competitive exam preparation. I genuinely enjoy tutoring because explaining concepts to others solidifies my own understanding and often gives me fresh perspectives on ideas.

My teaching covers students from primary school through to high school, as well as those preparing for entrance examinations.

My Teaching Approach:
My core philosophy is to build a strong foundation first, and then layer more advanced concepts on top of that base.

1. Maths: I focus on making sure the basics are thoroughly understood. Once those are solid, higher-level topics follow naturally.
2. English: I start by walking through the full concept, then break it down piece by piece to ensure complete understanding.

I have my own teaching material, so students do not need to purchase books. However, if a student or parent requests book recommendations, I am happy to suggest relevant ones.

Availability:

1. Days: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
2. Times: Morning and evening slots available on all three days

Session Format:

1. Adelaide-based students: In-person (offline) classes available
2. Outside Adelaide: Online sessions via video call

Experience

I have been teaching to students, between ages 10 to 17 years, in the domain on English and mathematics.

Qualifications

Have Bachelor's degree in Business administration, cleared CAT(One of the Toughest Indian exams with 92.8 percentile), and currently pursuing Master's in Finance from Adelaide university.
