Hello :) I’m Linh, a final-year Computer Science & Finance undergraduate at ANU. I have been tutoring for 6 years across Maths, General Science, Finance, and Programming, working with students from primary school through to university level.
I really enjoy tutoring because I like seeing students' "eureka" moments when a concept finally clicks for them, and their confidence starts to grow.
I have experience tutoring across different academic levels and exam systems, from Cambridge O Level in Singapore to university-level subjects in Australia. This has made me very comfortable adapting to different syllabuses, expectations, and learning styles.
Subjects I tutor:
Maths, General Science, Finance, Programming (Python, Java)
My approach:
I focus on making lessons fun, interactive, and easy to follow. I often use real-life examples and simple role-play style explanations to make abstract concepts easier to understand, and I adjust my teaching style based on what works best for each student.
Availability:
Flexible throughout the week (after-school & weekends).
Available online, at ANU/library study rooms, or at students’ homes depending on location.
Happy to support students long-term across school terms and holidays.

Experience
Hello! I have been tutoring since high school and have worked with students aged 6 to 20 over the past 6 years across subjects such as Maths, General Science, Finance, and Programming.
Currently, I teach programming at Code Camp, where I work with students aged 6 to 15 and introduce them to Python and Java. I focus on keeping lessons interactive and enjoyable while adapting my teaching style depending on how each student learns best. I was also a private tutor teaching Discrete Mathematics at Western Sydney University where I covered topics like logic, combinatorics, and set theory, and I made sure the students understood the reasoning behind the concepts rather than just the steps.
I also have experience working with students with different learning needs, including learning disabilities and special needs. In these cases, I adjust the pace and the way I explain concepts so that students can follow along comfortably and stay engaged throughout the lesson.
Before coming to Australia for university, I taught Year 8 General Science in Singapore (Cambridge O Level), working closely with students and parents to support progress and strengthen understanding over time.
Over the years, I have worked with students across different academic levels and exam systems, from Cambridge O Level to Australian university-level subjects, which has given me experience adapting to different syllabuses, expectations, and learning styles.
