I am a patient and supportive tutor with experience teaching lower secondary students across a range of subjects, with a strong focus on Maths and English. I have worked with over 5 students in one-on-one sessions, helping them improve both their academic performance and confidence in learning.

I specialise in Maths and ESL support for primary and junior secondary students. I am particularly good at explaining concepts clearly and adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. I aim to make learning engaging and help students build strong foundations and effective study habits.

Currently, I am undertaking a PhD in Education at The University of Queensland, with a focus on teaching and learning. My academic background allows me to apply student-centred teaching approaches in my tutoring.

As a bilingual tutor (English and Mandarin), I can support ESL students by explaining difficult concepts clearly and helping them better understand school content. I am happy to assist with homework, exam preparation, and building confidence in both Maths and English.?
