Hello! I'm Hyoseong, 25 years old and I have experience teaching korean to students ranging from complete beginners to advanced learners. I have also spent years learning foreign languages myself, which has given me valuable insight into what makes language learning both effective and sustainable.

***Lesson Location***

I prefer to conduct lessons online, but I am also happy to meet at a library, café, or another mutually convenient location.

**Teaching Approach**
My lessons are suitable for students who can read a little Hangul (the Korean alphabet).
As long as you can read basic Hangul, you can join my lessons.

1)For beginner students, My lessons are not designed for complete beginners, so I recommend learning the Korean alphabet (Hangul) before joining.

2)For intermediate students, lessons focus on becoming more familiar with natural Korean through videos, audio materials, and real-life content. Students will develop their listening, speaking, and comprehension skills while becoming more comfortable with everyday Korean expressions.

3)For advanced students, the main focus is maintaining conversations in Korean and developing fluency. Lessons emphasize natural communication, expressing opinions, discussing various topics, and using Korean confidently in real-life situations.

At the same time, I understand that every student learns differently. If a student has a preferred learning style or specific goals, I will do my best to adapt the lessons accordingly.

I also provide learning materials such as PDFs, worksheets, lesson notes, and other resources to support independent study outside of class.

***My Philosophy***

My journey started with a simple question.

Why do so many Language learner, including myself, study language for many years yet still struggle to speak fluently in real conversations?

Then another question came to mind.

What does it actually take for language learners to speak naturally and respond without constantly translating in their heads?

To find the answer, I spent a long time thinking about language learning, researching different methods, and reflecting on my own experiences.

Eventually, I realized something important.

Language is not just a subject to study.

Knowing a lot of grammar rules and memorizing thousands of words does not automatically make someone fluent.

Language develops through meaningful exposure and repeated use until the brain can access and produce it automatically.

In other words, knowing a language and using a language are two very different things.

Many learners understand Korean.

They know the vocabulary.

They understand grammar.

But when it’s time to speak, the words don’t come out.

The problem is not a lack of knowledge.

The problem is that the knowledge has not yet become automatic.

That is why my lessons are different from traditional language classes.

I do not focus primarily on constantly introducing new grammar points and vocabulary.

Of course, grammar and vocabulary are important.

However, I believe something even more important is helping students use what they already know naturally in real conversations.

My goal is not simply to teach Korean.

My goal is to help students automate their Korean.

In language learning research, this is often referred to as automaticity — the ability to access and use language quickly and naturally without consciously thinking through every rule.

For this reason, my lessons focus less on memorization and more on developing spontaneous production.

I want students to move beyond understanding Korean and start using Korean naturally when they communicate.

The specific methods and training process are difficult to fully explain in a public video.

The best way to understand them is to experience them yourself.
