Hello, my name is Constantinos (Costa) Arvanitis and I am a current PhD candidate with a First Class Honours degree and many years of experience in scientific research, laboratory work, and education.

I offer personalised tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Guitar, and Music Theory for primary school, high school, SACE, and adult learners. My approach is patient, practical, and tailored to each student's individual learning style. Whether you are preparing for exams, struggling with difficult concepts, or simply want to build confidence in a subject, I can help you develop the skills needed to succeed.

My scientific background includes research experience associated with RMIT University and CSIRO projects, laboratory analysis, scientific writing, and published research. This allows me to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and understandable way while helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Alongside science, I am an experienced guitarist with a passion for classical, rock, pop, and jazz music. I provide guitar lessons for beginners through to intermediate players, covering technique, music theory, performance skills, and learning songs that students enjoy.

I believe that learning should be enjoyable, engaging, and confidence-building. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades or musical ability but also to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
