Hello! I’m Daniel. I’ve spent over 25 years living and breathing music—from intensive classical piano training to working globally as a commercial music producer and music tech executive. After years in the fast-paced side of the industry, becoming a father changed my perspective. I wanted a peaceful, creative lifestyle to raise my family, which is exactly what brought us home to Orange.

At my studio, I bridge the gap between world-class technique and modern creativity. I use an accelerated, practical roadmap to fast-track the essentials of reading music, rhythm, and proper hand posture without the old-school boredom. We then immediately apply those skills to the music you actually care about—supplementing lessons with modern chord shapes, playing by ear, and spending a few minutes at the end of the session exploring digital music creation.

AMEB Exam Preparation: If you choose the formal classical route, you will be trained to the highest standard using highly efficient, stress-free production techniques (like breaking down classical pieces into "loops" and practicing scales against modern beats).

I have been teaching music for over a decade, working with everyone from absolute beginners to advanced creatives. My experience spans years of private studio coaching, alongside lecturing at Australia's leading creative media institutes, including JMC Academy and SAE Institute in Brisbane. Whether I am guiding a 7-year-old through their very first chords or mentoring university-level audio students on complex mixing workflows, my focus is always on making the technical side of music accessible, engaging, and stress-free.

AMEB Grade 8 Classical Piano – Trained under a Juilliard graduate and concert pianist
