I am a qualified secondary school teacher with over 10 years of classroom teaching experience and more than 5 years of private tutoring experience. I have also worked as a university Indigenous tutor, supporting students to develop confidence, academic skills, and successful study habits.

I specialize in English, History, and Geography across Years 7–12, including English Studies, Standard English, Advanced English, Ancient History, Modern History, History Elective, International Studies, and HSC Geography. I have extensive experience helping students improve essay writing, source analysis, examination techniques, research skills, and assessment task performance.

I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to work closely with students and help them achieve their individual goals. Seeing students grow in confidence, improve their results, and develop a genuine understanding of a subject is one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching.

My tutoring approach focuses on making learning engaging, enjoyable, and practical. Every lesson is tailored to the student's needs, whether they require assistance catching up, preparing for assessments, improving study skills, or striving for top HSC results. I believe that strong academic performance comes from developing effective skills and processes rather than simply memorizing content.

Lessons are typically one hour or longer and are structured around the student's current learning needs. Sessions may include content revision, explicit skill instruction, essay writing practice, source analysis, examination preparation, feedback on schoolwork, and personalized study strategies.

Students are provided with tailored notes, worksheets, practice questions, revision materials, and writing scaffolds where appropriate. I can also recommend textbooks, websites, and additional resources to support learning outside of tutoring sessions.

Tutoring is available for students in Years 7–12 and caters to all ability levels, from students requiring additional support through to high-achieving students seeking Band 6 results.

Tuesday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am – 8:00pm

Lessons are available online or in the student's home, depending on location and availability.
