I tutor online, with availability for students across Albany and regionally throughout Western Australia. Sessions are delivered via video call, so location is no barrier.

I work with high school students across Years 7 to 12 in Maths, English, Science and HASS/Social Studies, with senior-level support in Human Biology, Psychology and Health Studies. I also cover study skills, assignment structure and exam preparation. My strongest areas at senior level are Human Biology, Psychology and Health Studies, where my science and health background gives me solid subject knowledge.

My approach is practical and student-led. I start each session by identifying exactly what the student is stuck on, then work through it in clear, manageable steps. I use worked examples, break tasks into components, and focus on understanding over memorisation. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and paced to the individual student.

I draw on a background in paramedicine, training and high-pressure problem solving. I am currently completing a Master of Counselling and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies, which means I am also well-placed to support students dealing with study anxiety, avoidance or overwhelm. I enjoy tutoring because explaining difficult things clearly is something I have always done well, and watching a stuck student get unstuck is genuinely satisfying.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine, maintain current AHPRA registration, and hold a current WWCC and national police check. I carry professional indemnity insurance.

My tutoring style comes from a background in training and education within high-pressure environments, where explaining complex information clearly and quickly - to people who are stressed, confused or under pressure - was part of the job. I work with students across Years 7 to 12 in Maths, English, Science, HASS, Human Biology, Psychology and Health Studies. My focus is on getting the student to actually understand the work, not just get through the session.
