I am a middle school Maths teacher and Learning Specialist with extensive experience supporting students at levels 5–9, including those requiring targeted numeracy intervention and those aiming for extension pathways.

In my current role, I lead intensive numeracy intervention for students identified through NAPLAN and school data as needing additional support to strengthen foundational maths skills and rebuild confidence. I work with students across a wide range of abilities, including those significantly below expected level through to high-achieving learners preparing for selective and extension programs.

My teaching focuses on clear, structured, and explicit instruction that helps students understand how and why maths works, not just memorise procedures.

- Fractions, decimals, percentages, and integers
- Negative integers - Algebra and equations
- Linear relationships and graphing - Worded problems and problem-solving strategies
- Geometry and measurement
- Statistics and chance
- Pythagoras and trigonometry - Confidence with basic numeracy and core skills
- Confidence navigating school tools such as textbooks and online platforms such as Essential Assessment
- Extension and higher-order reasoning for advanced students
- Understanding feedback and data provided by your child's school
