Sydney tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Economics, Further Maths, General Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Statistics

Hello!

I'm Sui, a 2025 graduate of Sydney Boys High School studying Mathematics at the University of Melbourne, with provisional postgraduate entry into dentistry.

I tutor HSC Maths (Adv/Extension 1/Extension 2) and Economics, subjects that I grew to love over my studies. I am also willing to teach Y7-10 Maths.

Contrary to most of my selective school classmates, I didn't have tutoring right until Y12, feeling unsure if it was actually worth the time and monetary investment. However, I quickly realised the benefit of having a great tutor who can provide structure and sharpened focus to learning, truly propelling me to the top of my cohort.

Drawing from this experience, what I can uniquely offer is being able to properly assist students who study on their own or with conventional large-group company tutoring but aren't quite reaching their potential, to catalyse substantial improvements in results.

I highly commend and look forward to mentoring anyone who wants to take that extra step! Feel free to reach out!

How may our lessons look like?
? Weekly 1-2 hour sessions (flexible)
? A balance of content and application through handpicked questions chosen to develop critical skills and master topics
? Small quizzes at the start of lessons to reinforce previously learnt material
? Frequent assessment of the student's abilities to target weak points
? Provision of relevant resources for further revision outside of scheduled lessons

However I will always be willing to adapt to demands! Please don't interpret these as absolute

**I wont be in Sydney so I am unable to offer face-to-face tutoring. I try to compensate for this by being highly responsive to my students' enquiries!

? I received a 99.90 ATAR and my HSC results are as follows:

- Mathematics Extension 1: 100 (equal 1st in SBHS)
- Mathematics Extension 2: 99 (equal 2nd in SBHS)
- Economics: 96 (equal 1st in SBHS)

My other subjects:
- Geography: 98 (in 2024, 4th in NSW)
- English Advanced: 91
