My preferred tutoring location is Southport Library, as it provides a quiet and focused learning environment that is convenient for students on the Gold Coast.

I am currently a Year 12 student with strong academic ability in Biology, Mathematics, and Creative Writing (English). I enjoy helping students break down difficult concepts into simpler, more manageable steps and building their confidence over time. Having experience working with a current tutoring student, I understand how to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and abilities.

My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and structured. I focus on making sure students fully understand key concepts before moving on, rather than rushing through content. Lessons are typically guided by what the student is learning at school, with a focus on revision, practice questions, and improving exam technique where needed. I also provide explanations, examples, and simplified notes when helpful.

I enjoy tutoring because I like seeing students grow in confidence and start to feel more capable in subjects they previously found difficult. I aim to create a relaxed but productive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
