Brisbane tutor in Biology, English, General Science, History, Maths, Psychology, Visual Arts, Essay Writing

Hi, I'm Shaan! I'm currently in my first year of a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Health Specialisation) at the University of Queensland. I graduated from Year 12 in 2025 with an ATAR of 90+, achieving strong results across the senior subjects I now tutor. Having recently completed the QCAA curriculum, I have an up-to-date understanding of the current syllabus, assessment requirements, and effective study strategies.

I currently tutor with Alchemy Tuition and hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check). I offer tutoring for both primary and secondary students, providing support in English, Mathematics, and Science for primary students, and specialising in Biology, Psychology, Ancient History, English, and Visual Art for secondary students.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual learning style. I focus on building a genuine understanding of concepts rather than memorisation, creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.

Lessons are personalised to each student's goals and may include reviewing class content, homework support, assignment planning, proofreading and feedback, exam preparation, revision strategies, study skills, and practice questions. Whether you're looking for ongoing academic support or help preparing for an upcoming assessment, my goal is to help students improve their results while developing effective learning habits that extend beyond the classroom.

I offer tutoring both online and in person (where suitable) and am available on weekday afternoons and evenings, with weekend sessions available by arrangement.

If you're interested in tutoring or have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email at shaanrai15@gmail.com. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals!
