Sydney tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Further Maths, General Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Statistics

I am available to tutor after school on weekdays and throughout the weekend. The best way to contact me is via email at contact@albertsmythtutoring.com.

Lessons can be held online or at the student's home, depending on what is most convenient. I tailor each lesson to the individual student's needs, focusing on building a strong understanding of core concepts before progressing to more challenging problems. I provide worked examples, practice questions, and study strategies to help students become confident and independent learners.

I specialise in HSC Mathematics, including Advanced Mathematics, Extension 1, and Extension 2. As the Dux of my school and an all-round achiever, I earned E4 results in both Extension 1 and Extension 2 Mathematics. Having experienced the HSC myself, I understand both the content and the study techniques required to succeed.

Although I am new to formal tutoring, I genuinely enjoy helping others understand mathematics. Seeing students gain confidence and solve problems they once found difficult is incredibly rewarding. My teaching approach is straightforward, patient, and focused on clear explanations without unnecessary complexity. I believe every student can improve with the right guidance and consistent practice.

I offer tutoring for all high school mathematics courses, with a particular focus on senior HSC Mathematics.

Experience

While I do not have formal tutoring experience, I am eager to begin helping students achieve their academic goals. My own experience taught me that success comes from developing effective study habits, learning strategies, and confidence—not just natural ability. I understand the challenges students can face because I have overcome them myself, and I am committed to providing patient, supportive, and well-prepared lessons that help students build both their skills and confidence.
