Most students who struggle with maths aren't bad at it. They've usually just been taught to memorise steps without ever being shown why those steps work — so the moment a question looks unfamiliar, there's nothing to fall back on. My entire approach is built around fixing that.
I'm a Mathematics graduate with a High Distinction average, including perfect 100/100 results in several university mathematics units, and I hold First Class Honours in Electronics Engineering from Macquarie University. I now work professionally as a data engineer, using mathematics and analytical problem-solving every day. That matters for one simple reason: I can show students where the maths in front of them actually leads, which makes it far easier to stay motivated.
I tutor high school students from Years 7 to 12, including all HSC levels — Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2. With senior students, the focus is on mastering the syllabus, sharpening exam technique, and working systematically through past papers. With Years 7–10, it's about building solid foundations and closing gaps early, before they become serious problems in the senior years.
Every lesson is built around the individual student — their syllabus, their school's assessment style, and the specific topics giving them trouble. I don't run a fixed program. I start from concrete examples and build towards the general principle, because that's how understanding actually sticks.
Sessions are one-on-one, live and interactive over video. That means flexible scheduling, no travel time for families, and lessons available to students anywhere in Australia.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) with First Class Honours and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) with a High Distinction average — Macquarie University.

I also hold a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (TAFE NSW), and I currently work professionally as a data engineer, applying mathematics and analytical problem-solving daily.
