Ballarat tutor in Algebra, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Calculus, Chemistry, Further Maths, General Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Statistics, UCAT
I am a first-year medical student at the University of Newcastle with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Having recently completed Year 12 with an ATAR of 96.85, I understand the challenges students face and can provide practical study strategies, exam preparation techniques and subject-specific support that is relevant to today's curriculum.
Throughout school I held leadership positions including School Captain, Rowing Captain and Peer Mentor, where I regularly supported and encouraged younger students. These experiences strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, communicate effectively and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs.
I offer online tutoring for primary and secondary students in Mathematics, Science, Physical Education and the UCAT as well as general study skills and exam preparation. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual goals, whether they need help understanding difficult concepts, improving confidence or preparing for assessments.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging and structured. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to suit their learning style while building confidence and independent study skills. I provide clear explanations, practice questions, revision resources and effective study techniques to help students achieve their best.
As a current medical student, I know the importance of strong study habits and effective learning strategies. I am committed to creating a supportive online learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, enjoy learning and are motivated to reach their full potential.

Experience
I have extensive experience mentoring and supporting others through leadership roles. As School Captain and Peer Mentor at Damascus College, I regularly assisted younger students with their learning, study skills and confidence. I have also coached and volunteered in community sport, where I explained new concepts clearly, adapted my communication to suit different ages and abilities, and encouraged others to achieve their goals. My current role as a Companion Worker with Right at Home has further strengthened my patience, communication and ability to build positive, supportive relationships.
