I'm a specialist HSC and VCE Biology tutor with an MSc in Molecular Life Sciences, a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science, and over 8 years of tutoring experience — plus 5+ years lecturing at university level. My students consistently achieve ATARs of 90+.
My approach is simple: I help Biology actually make sense rather than having you memorise dot points you'll forget under exam pressure. Every lesson is mapped to the NESA syllabus and built around your own assessments and past HSC papers. I start by finding exactly where marks are being lost, then we focus our time there — and I teach exam technique explicitly, so you know how to read what a question is really asking and how to answer the verb (describe, explain, assess, evaluate) that markers are looking for.
I cover all Year 11 and 12 modules, from Cells and Ecosystem Dynamics through to Heredity, Genetic Change, Infectious Disease, and Non-infectious Disease. Sessions are online 1:1 via Zoom with an interactive whiteboard.
