I am a Cambridge University Mathematics graduate with over 6 years of tutoring experience and more than 800 hours of one-to-one tuition. I specialise in helping students develop confidence, improve their results and build a deeper understanding of mathematics.

I offer tutoring for senior secondary and university students, including WACE Mathematics Methods, WACE Specialist Mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, statistics, engineering mathematics, and university-level mathematics. I also support students preparing for competitive university applications and mathematics admissions tests.

I am available for both online lessons and face-to-face tutoring in Perth. Lessons can take place at a suitable location, including my home, a student's home (where practical), or another agreed location.

I enjoy tutoring because I love seeing students make progress and gain confidence in a subject that many initially find challenging. My aim is not just to help students solve individual problems, but to help them develop the problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding needed to tackle unfamiliar questions independently.

My approach is personalised to each student. Lessons are structured around their goals, current level and areas for improvement. We typically combine reviewing previous work, explaining new concepts, working through examples together and practising exam-style questions. I focus on making sure students understand why methods work, rather than simply memorising procedures.

I provide personalised notes, worked examples and recommended practice questions to support students between lessons. I also have experience creating mathematics resources and exam preparation materials, which I use to help students prepare effectively.

I have been tutoring mathematics for over 10 years, working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. During this time, I have delivered over 1000 hours of one-to-one tuition, helping students improve their confidence, achieve higher grades, and prepare for competitive university applications.

I specialise in advanced mathematics, including senior secondary mathematics, Further Mathematics, Specialist Mathematics, and university-level topics. STEP Examiner: Experience marking the Cambridge STEP mathematics admissions examination, giving me valuable insight into the problem-solving skills required for students applying to highly competitive universities.
