Over those eight years I've worked with students across primary, middle school, and secondary levels, tutoring English, science, and maths. My approach starts with meeting each student where they actually are — not where a syllabus assumes they should be — and building a teaching plan around their specific gaps, learning style, and pace, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. That combination of classroom-trained instruction and genuinely tailored, curriculum-aligned support is what I bring to every session.

Qualifications

I am a certified teacher with four years of classroom teaching experience and eight years of private tutoring experience, holding a Master's degree in Education from St. Joseph's University, USA. I have taught and tutored students across primary, middle school, and secondary levels in English, science, and mathematics, giving me a strong understanding of how student needs evolve at each stage of schooling. My teaching is curriculum-aligned, ensuring every session reinforces what students are already learning in the classroom rather than working in isolation from it. I take a tailored approach to each student, assessing where they currently stand and adapting my methods to their individual pace, gaps, and learning style, rather than applying a generic teaching formula. This combination of formal teaching qualifications, extensive tutoring experience, and a genuinely individualised approach allows me to help students build both competence and confidence in their studies.
