Hi, I'm Nitesh, founder of The Study Circle and a current Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Sydney.

Over the past eight years, I have spent thousands of hours tutoring and mentoring students from primary school through to Year 12 across Mathematics, Science, English, Biology and Chemistry. I have also spent more than four years preparing students for medical school interviews.

Throughout this journey, I realised that many students do not struggle because they lack ability. More often, they have never been shown how to study effectively, stay organised or remain accountable. They need guidance, encouragement and practical systems just as much as they need help understanding the content.

My lessons focus on helping students become confident, independent learners. Alongside subject knowledge, I teach proven learning strategies such as active recall, spaced repetition, effective note-taking, revision planning and exam technique. The goal is not simply to improve marks for the next assessment, but to build habits that continue benefiting students throughout school and university.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Whether someone is rebuilding confidence, trying to stay on top of schoolwork or aiming for top HSC or VCE results, I create a personalised plan based on their goals, strengths and learning style. Parents also receive regular progress updates so they know exactly how their child is progressing and where we are focusing next.

I am the founder of The Study Circle, an Australian academic mentoring program focused on helping students build stronger study habits, confidence and long-term academic success.

As a current Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Sydney, I understand the challenges students face balancing school, exams and future career aspirations. My mentoring goes beyond explaining content—I help students develop effective study systems, improve organisation, build confidence and become independent learners.

Lessons are personalised to each student and incorporate proven learning strategies including active recall, spaced repetition and exam-focused revision. I also work closely with parents to provide regular updates and ensure students remain accountable throughout the school year.
