Availability & Logistics
I'm available for tutoring on weekdays and weekends, with flexible scheduling to suit your routine. Sessions can be conducted online or in-person, depending on what works best for you. Feel free to reach out by phone or email to discuss times!

My Approach to Tutoring
I take a personalised approach to every student, starting with a chat about your current strengths, challenges, and goals so I can tailor sessions accordingly. Depending on what you need, sessions might involve reviewing recent homework or school topics, working through a more structured lesson plan, or adapting on the spot to whatever's most useful that week — often a combination of all three.

I use a mix of my own notes and resources alongside school materials and past papers, so students can consolidate what they're learning in class while also building broader understanding. Lessons typically combine explanation of key concepts, guided practice, and independent problem-solving, with regular check-ins to track progress.

I believe the best learning happens in a relaxed, judgement-free environment — so questions are always welcome, and I encourage students to build the confidence to problem-solve independently and to find the joy in learning!

Experience

Hi! I'm Claudia, a 2025 Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health graduate (with Distinction). I tutor a broad range of subjects across both STEM and humanities — with particular strength in English Literature, Chemistry, and Biology, alongside university-level biomedical sciences including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, and pharmacology.

I've tutored students from primary school through to university, across both the Queensland and NSW curricula, which gives me a strong sense of how learning needs shift at each stage of schooling. Over the past three years I've worked as a university academic tutor, learning support officer, and peer learning coach, in addition to private tutoring — so I've supported students one-on-one and in small groups across a wide variety of subjects and learning styles.

I explain concepts clearly, adapt my teaching to how each student learns best, and focus on building both grades and genuine confidence as an independent learner. Whether catching up on tricky content, preparing for exams, or looking to extend academically, I create a relaxed, encouraging environment where questions are welcome and progress feels achievable.
