Hi, I'm Giorgio! I graduated in 2025 with strong HSC results, including a Band 6 in English Advanced, E4 in both English Extension 1 and Extension 2, Band 6 in French Continuers (Accelerated), Band 6 in Spanish Continuers, Band 6 in Music 2, and E4 in Music Extension (ranked 2nd in NSW). I'm currently studying Commerce at UNSW.

I have several years of tutoring experience across Years 7–12, including HSC, and have worked with a wide range of students - from those with special needs, where I tailor lessons to individual learning styles, to international students building their English language skills. I've helped students go from struggling to consistently achieving strong results; for example, I helped a Year 8 student go from a D to an A in Spanish within a year by steadily building his confidence and communication skills.

My areas of expertise:
English - essay writing, creative writing, textual analysis, exam technique
Music - theory, musicianship, composition, and piece analysis for assessments
Languages - French and Spanish grammar, comprehension, writing, and speaking

My approach:
I believe learning should be enjoyable, not just effective. I break complex ideas down into manageable steps, focus on building genuine confidence rather than rote memorisation, and adapt my teaching style to how each student learns best. I also help students plan their workload and assessment timelines so nothing is left to the last minute - a skill I've refined by balancing my own studies, extracurriculars and tutoring commitments.

I'm patient, approachable and persistent, and I love seeing the moment a student realises they're capable of more than they thought. Having recently completed the HSC myself, I understand exactly what markers look for and how to prepare strategically for exams.
