Hi! I'm Niharika, currently completing a Master of Economics at Monash University, after finishing my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics in India. I scored a 6 in IB Business Management and a 5 in IB Economics myself, so I know exactly where students tend to get stuck.

I've been teaching in some form for years — as a Teaching Assistant across IB Economics, IB Business Management, Macroeconomics, Statistics, and Behavioural Economics, plus informally tutoring my sister, school friends, and university classmates along the way. I've also held leadership roles like Vice President of my university's Economics Society and co-authored published articles on economic policy, so this subject genuinely excites me.

As a tutor, I'm patient, friendly, and good at breaking things down without making anyone feel silly for asking. I get along easily with students of all ages, including younger kids, and I focus on building real confidence, not just ticking off the syllabus. Experience

I have both formal and informal experience in teaching and mentoring. During school and my Bachelor's degree, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for IB Economics, IB Business Management, Macroeconomics, History of Economic Thought, Statistics, and Behavioural Economics, where I helped break down complex concepts into clear, accessible explanations for students. Alongside this, I have regularly and informally tutored my younger sister, school classmates, and university peers across a range of subjects, which has given me strong experience adapting my teaching style to different learners and paces.

I have also held several leadership roles, including Vice President of my university's Economics Society and Business Development/Communications lead for student-run fundraising initiatives, which have strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to motivate and guide others.

Together, these experiences have shaped me into someone who is confident and effective at what I do, while remaining friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with children — I genuinely enjoy helping others learn and grow

Qualifications

I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a 6 in Business Management and a 5 in Economics, giving me a strong foundation in both subjects from an early stage. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics at O.P. Jindal Global University, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Economics at Monash University. This academic background, combined with my hands-on teaching and tutoring experience, means I'm well placed to support students in Economics, Business, and related quantitative subjects.
