Perth tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Further Maths, General Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Statistics

Hi, I'm George ? I've been tutoring mathematics for over 22 years, starting when I was just 18 years old. During that time I've worked with students ranging from secondary school through to university, including extensive private tutoring as well as teaching, tutoring and lecturing roles at multiple Australian universities. I hold advanced degrees in mathematics, physics, and mathematics education from The University of Sydney, and have taught subjects including calculus, algebra, statistics, mathematical modelling, physics, and mathematics education.

My approach is simple: every student can improve when concepts are explained clearly and matched to their individual learning style. Whether you're struggling with the basics, preparing for exams, catching up after falling behind, or aiming for top marks, I focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorisation.

Students often tell me that I explain difficult concepts in a way that finally "clicks". I am patient, approachable, and happy to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, confidence levels, and goals.

I can assist with secondary school and university mathematics, exam preparation, assignment support, bridging courses, and general study skills. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results, but also to develop confidence and independence in their learning.
