Hi! I’m a university student offering friendly and personalised tutoring in English, Japanese and Philosophy, as well as Art and Piano lessons for children and teenagers.

I aim to make lessons relaxed, encouraging and enjoyable, while adapting my teaching to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I’m patient and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

For English, I can help with essay writing, grammar, reading comprehension, writing structure and developing clear arguments. I can also help students become more confident in their writing and better express their ideas.

For Japanese, I offer tutoring from beginner to intermediate level, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and conversation practice. Lessons can be tailored to what the student is currently learning or to areas they would particularly like to improve.

For Philosophy, I can help students break down difficult concepts, understand and develop arguments, and improve their essay writing and structure.

English, Japanese and Philosophy tutoring is available both online and in person.

I also offer Art and Piano lessons in person from my home. For Art, I can teach a range of skill levels and tailor lessons to each student’s interests, whether they want to improve their drawing, explore different techniques or work on their own creative projects. For Piano, I teach from complete beginner to elementary level, with a focus on building a good foundation in technique, reading music and playing confidently.

Most importantly, I want my lessons to feel welcoming and enjoyable rather than stressful. Whether a student needs some extra help with their studies or simply wants to develop a creative skill, I’m happy to tailor lessons around their interests and goals.
