QUALIFICATIONS
- I graduated from Narrabundah College in 2025 and am currently completing my Bachelor of Science degree at ANU. I excelled in Accounting, Chemistry and Mathematics throughout high school. - Ranked 1st in Commerce (Accounting and Business) in college.
- I enjoy tutoring because I genuinely like helping people learn. I find it really rewarding when a student goes from being confused or frustrated about something to suddenly understanding it. I also enjoy figuring out how to explain a concept in a way that makes sense to that particular person, rather than just giving them the answer.

YOUR TUTORING EXPERIENCE
- My main areas of expertise are maths and science for primary and secondary students, and accounting for college students - My approach to tutoring is centred around creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Rather than simply giving students the answers, I encourage them to work through problems themselves so they can develop their confidence and independence. I also regularly check their understanding and adapt my approach when needed.
- To start off my lessons, I like to identify where the student is lacking. I will then come up with an outline for the session and focus on the key concepts the student needs to grasp. - If the student is willing and requests homework, that can be assigned for regular sessions.

Experience

Volunteered as a tutor for migrant and refugee students for almost two years, helping out with school homework relating to science, maths and English. This taught me that being a tutor in a supportive learning environment is possible.
