I'm Dinath, a WA top-0.5% graduate (ATAR 99.90, TEA 400+, UCAT 3150 — 94th percentile) now studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne on a Chancellor's Scholarship, with an assured pathway into Medicine. I achieved a WACE General Exhibition, ranking #20 in Western Australia overall, and Subject Certificates of Excellence in Chemistry and Specialist Mathematics.

I've been tutoring since 2020 and have 600+ hours of experience teaching students from Year 4 through Year 12. I specialise in WACE Chemistry, Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist and Economics, but I'm also comfortable tutoring high school Maths, English and Science more broadly, plus ASET (selective schools entry exam) preparation and UCAT/medical interview preparation, having gone through both processes myself. I've helped students achieve 99+ ATARs, gain entry into Medicine, and get into Perth Modern.

I enjoy tutoring because I like watching a concept "click" for a student, especially in subjects like Chemistry and Specialist Maths that can feel intimidating at first. My approach is patient and down-to-earth: I focus on the thinking behind an answer, not just the answer itself, and I explain things the way I wish someone had explained them to me. Lessons are structured around identifying gaps first, working through exam-style questions together, and finishing with a short set of practice problems or past-paper extracts tailored to what we covered, so each session builds directly on the last.
