Experience

Akuna Education was founded by a qualified, registered teacher with 12 years of teaching experience. The founder achieved a 98 ATAR at a top academic school in NSW, with Band 6 results in Extension 2 English, Extension 1 English, Biology, and Chemistry, so students aren't just being taught by someone with a degree, but by someone who has personally excelled at the exact system they're now navigating.

That combination of formal teaching experience and firsthand top-tier academic results is what shapes how Akuna Education tutors work: lessons are built around what actually earns marks, not just general content coverage. Every tutor on the team is hand-picked and matched to a student's specific subject and level, and the business holds a current Working With Children Check and registered ABN.
