Bonjour ! ¡Hola! I'm Vanessa :)

I specialise in teaching French, Spanish and English online to adults and high school students, particularly beginner to intermediate learners as I love reinforcing the basics and watching you grow! While we focus on improving your ability to speak confidently and fluidly, we also work on reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, of course. I've dedicated the last decade of my life to studying languages myself and continue to be fascinated by new ways of learning and teaching, so that my students have fun and make amazing progress through engaging materials and interactive activities. I love watching my students build their abilities week on week as I tailor our lessons to their personal goals and abilities and am here to answer any questions and support you.

Experience

I'm an online language teacher specialising in French, English and Spanish, with a Bachelor of Languages, and a TEFL certificate and 6 years' experience teaching in language institutes and schools as well as delivering private lessons. I've lived, studied and worked in France and Spain, which has kept me constantly connected to these languages that I love, and allows me to continue sharing my knowledge and these unique skills with students who also have a passion for languages and culture! Learning Spanish and French myself from scratch, inspires me to teach other Australian adults like me or students in Australia, who share this same interest in languages as me, and the diverse places where they are spoken.

Qualifications

I studied a Bachelor of Languages, majoring in French and Spanish before obtaining my DALF C1 and TEFL certificate, and teaching in various language schools and privately to adults and high school students.
