Melbourne tutor in Creative Writing, EAL, English, English Language, English Literature, Essay Writing, Journalism, Reading, Special Needs, Study Skills

Hi there, I have been tutoring for over 4 years now. I love working with primary and secondary students to support them with their learning journey. I understand what it’s like to be anxious and I would love to offer that additional support. Feel free to get in contact so we can see if I am the right fit!

Experience

I have had experience offering one on one support to children for their school work. As a linguistics student, one of my interest is child language acquisition and phonetics. I have worked as an EAL tutor for children hoping to improve their confidence and speaking skills. Also, I have had some experience assisting children as a disability teacher aid during the transitional period from primary to high school.

Over the past 4 years, I have predominantly tutored French over a variety of high school levels. I have assisted in the preparation for the final Year 12 French oral examination. I am able to teach reading, listening, writing and speaking from beginner level to the end. I completed both English Literature and English Language during my secondary schooling and have continued on with Linguistics and Literary Studies in my tertiary studies. Therefore, I would also be happy to tutor for English subjects too.

Qualifications

I finished secondary school in 2022 with an ATAR over 90. I have since completed my bachelors degree in English language. I am currently undertaking my Masters Degree in Linguistics. I also have my working with children’s check and police check.
