Melbourne tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Further Maths, General Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Statistics

Hi, I’m Chathil! I am currently a third-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student specialising in Mechanical Engineering at Deakin University in Victoria.

Before beginning my studies at Deakin University, I completed a Diploma in Engineering at Nawaloka College of Higher Studies in Sri Lanka. I also completed my G.C.E. Advanced Level studies in the Physical Science stream at Royal College, Colombo 07, where mathematics formed an important part of my academic background.

Through my engineering studies, I have developed strong skills in mathematics, engineering calculations, analytical thinking and problem-solving. I regularly apply mathematical concepts to real engineering problems as part of my university studies.

I am passionate about helping younger students develop the same confidence in mathematics. I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I enjoy breaking difficult problems into simple, easy-to-understand steps.

My goal as a tutor is not only to help students get the correct answer, but also to help them understand the method behind it, strengthen their mathematical foundations and become more confident when solving problems independently.
