Experience

I am a professional, native-speaking Russian language educator with over 25 years of experience teaching Russian as a Foreign Language across Australia and internationally. For the past 15 years, I have been based in Canberra, where I have had the privilege of guiding adult learners from every background—from beginners taking their first steps to advanced students mastering business Russian.
My teaching experience spans private 1-on-1 tuition, academic tutoring for university students, and specialized training for diplomatic missions and government departments. In 2012, I established dedicated Russian language and culture group classes in Belconnen, which I continue to run today, fostering an engaging and supportive community for adult learners.
​As the author of my own Russian reader and textbook, I combine tailored, practical curriculum design with communicative teaching methods.
