I am a medical doctor, Respiratory Medicine Advanced Trainee, Clinical Lecturer and incoming Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar at NYU Langone Health. I hold a PhD and Master of Clinical Education and have around five years of formal experience teaching, supervising and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.

I specialise in preparation for high stakes interviews, particularly medical school entry, hospital and specialty training positions, scholarships, fellowships and academic opportunities.

My approach is practical and personalised. I do not provide scripted answers to memorise. Instead, I help you identify the strongest experiences from your own background, understand what the interviewer is really assessing, structure your responses clearly and communicate naturally under pressure.

Sessions can include realistic mock interviews, challenging follow up questions, detailed feedback, development of behavioural and leadership examples, CV and application review, and preparation for motivation, ethics, teamwork, conflict and professional judgement questions.

My broader academic experience includes more than 150 peer reviewed publications, competitive research funding, research awards, university teaching and supervision. I have personally navigated competitive selection processes across medicine, specialty training, research, academia and scholarships, including selection as a Fulbright Scholar.

I work with medical school applicants, junior doctors, specialty training applicants, scholarship and fellowship candidates, researchers and other professionals preparing for an important interview or presentation.

Experience

I have approximately five years of formal teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience across university and clinical medicine. I have taught medical students and junior doctors through individual mentoring, small group teaching, clinical education, examination preparation, research supervision and professional development. I am currently a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and have previously held Clinical Associate Lecturer and Clinical Research Academic roles. I have also received both Student Teacher and Intern Teacher Awards for medical education.
