I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education and I have around 10 years of professional teaching experience. I have extensive experience teaching Mathematics and helping students build strong mathematical foundations, improve their confidence and achieve better academic results.
I offer online Mathematics tutoring for students from Primary to Year 8, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning needs and level.

My teaching approach is student-centred, patient and interactive. I first identify the student’s strengths and areas that need improvement, then plan lessons accordingly. I explain concepts step-by-step using simple examples and encourage students to understand why a method works rather than simply memorising formulas.
I structure my lessons with a short review of previous learning, introduction of the new concept, guided practice, independent questions and a quick assessment at the end. I can also provide practice questions, worksheets and personalised homework where required.
I particularly enjoy tutoring Mathematics because I believe that every student can become good at Mathematics with the right explanation, practice and encouragement. My goal is not only to help students improve their marks but also to develop their confidence, problem-solving ability and positive attitude towards Mathematics.
