Hi! I’m Rihanshi. I graduated from Narrabundah College in 2025 with an ATAR of 99.50 and have over 150 hours of individual and group tutoring experience.

I offer tutoring in:

I have particular familiarity with the BSSS curriculum for Years 11–12 Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology.

My goal as a tutor is not simply to show students how to get the right answer, but to help them develop a strong understanding of concepts and the confidence to approach problems independently. I tailor lessons to each student's individual needs by identifying gaps in foundational knowledge, explaining concepts clearly, and working through guided examples before progressing to more challenging and independent questions.

For senior students, I take a structured and organised approach to learning and assessment preparation. I help students create curriculum-aligned topic summaries and review guides to consolidate their understanding, and use targeted practice and exam-style questions to prepare for assessments. I also help students plan ahead and stay ahead of their coursework, allowing sufficient time for revision and exam preparation.

For UCAT Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning, I focus on developing efficient and repeatable strategies for each question type. I break each subtest down into its different question types and teach specific approaches for tackling them efficiently, with a focus on recognising the best method quickly, breaking down complex questions, improving accuracy and managing time effectively under UCAT conditions.

Experience

I have over 150 hours of tutoring experience through Rochester Peer Tutoring, providing both individual and group tutoring, and currently work as an Academic Personal Trainer at A Team Tuition. I have experience supporting students in Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology, with particular familiarity with the BSSS curriculum.

I tailor my approach to each student’s individual needs, identifying areas for improvement, strengthening foundational understanding and developing effective problem-solving skills. I also help students create structured study plans that align with their coursework, so they can stay on top of their learning and feel confident and well-prepared for assessments and exams.

I also have experience supporting children with disabilities and additional learning needs through Together Including Every Student (TIES), which has strengthened my ability to adapt my communication and teaching approach to suit each student’s individual needs.

- Subject Rankings: 6th out of 156 in Chemistry, 10th out of 414 in Mathematics, 12th out of 195 in Biology and 3rd out of 109 in Psychology at Narrabundah College.
- Achieved Distinction in both Biology and Chemistry in the Australian Science Olympiad.
- 800 Decision Making (DM) and 900 Quantitative Reasoning (QR)
