Melbourne tutor in Italian

I am a native Italian speaker from Rome and also lived and worked in Milan before moving to Australia 10 years ago.
I offer private, personalised Italian conversation and tutoring for a range of levels, from students and university learners to professionals and executives wishing to develop or refine their Italian.
My approach is conversational, practical and tailored to each person’s individual level, interests and objectives. I particularly enjoy helping people become more confident speaking Italian naturally, while also introducing elements of Italian culture, lifestyle and everyday communication.

Depending on your goals, sessions may focus on conversational Italian, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, academic support, travel preparation, or professional and business communication.

Lessons are individually structured and can include conversation exercises, practical scenarios, reading and comprehension, as well as personalised notes, homework and worksheets. Where appropriate, I can also recommend books and additional material for independent practice between sessions.

I believe learning a language should be engaging and enjoyable. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all programme, I adapt each lesson to the individual, whether you are beginning your Italian journey, studying the language academically, preparing for a trip to Italy, or looking to communicate with greater confidence in a professional environment.

Private sessions are available for individuals or couples, with weekday in the evening and weekend availability depending on my schedule. Students can attend classes in the library or common areas of the building I live in (area- South Yarra) In addition, I offer online classes via zoom.
