I am a qualified primary teacher with seven years of teaching experience and four years of providing private after-school tuition in English and Mathematics to children aged 8 to 11.

I have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities and learning needs, both in the classroom and through one-to-one tutoring. My tutoring is tailored to each child's individual needs, whether they require support to strengthen their understanding of key concepts, consolidate classroom learning, prepare for assessments, or develop greater confidence and independence.

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged. In my tutoring sessions, I take the time to understand how each child learns, identify areas for development and build skills progressively through clear explanations, targeted practice and engaging activities. My aim is not simply to help children complete their work, but to help them understand *why* and develop the confidence to tackle challenges independently.

I have particularly strong experience in Mathematics, having taught additional Maths beyond the standard classroom timetable, as well as English, including reading, writing, grammar and comprehension. I have also supported children learning English as an additional language and students with additional learning needs.

With experience across both UK and international schools, as well as four years of private tutoring, I bring a professional, patient and encouraging approach to every session. I would love to help your child strengthen their skills, enjoy learning and reach their potential.
