Brisbane tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Cantonese, Further Maths, General Maths, General Science, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Statistics, Study Skills

Hi! I’m a friendly and patient Maths tutor with experience teaching primary and junior secondary students. I currently study QCE Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics and have achieved full marks in my Mathematics internal assessments so far. I have also received several Mathematics Olympiad awards since primary school and am familiar with QCE ATAR, IB and HKDSE Mathematics.

In lessons, I first explain the concept clearly, then guide students step by step as they try questions themselves. I identify mistakes, teach faster and more efficient methods and break difficult questions into simple steps. I can also provide practice questions and notes for preparing exam.

I can teach in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, which is especially helpful for international students. I offer tutoring from Primary School to Junior High School and am mainly available after school on weekdays and on Sundays. Online lessons are preferred. Trials are available for new students!

My aim is not only to help students get the correct answer, but also to understand the reasoning behind it and become more confident solving similar questions on their own.
