I am a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Sydney and currently work as a Casual Academic teaching university mathematics. I have around 12 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including 8 years of private home and online tutoring.
I tutor NSW Years 7–12 Mathematics, including HSC Standard, Advanced and Extension Maths. I focus on clear explanations, strong foundations, problem-solving skills and exam preparation, with lessons adapted to each student’s level and goals.
My previous experience also includes O Levels, A Levels, IGCSE, SAT and GRE Mathematics, so I am comfortable working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and ability levels.
I offer face-to-face and online tutoring and aim to help students become more confident, independent and successful in mathematics.

Experience

I have around 12 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including approximately 8 years of private home and online tutoring. I have taught students from school through university level, covering Australian curriculum mathematics as well as O Levels, A Levels, IGCSE and other international curricula. I have also helped students prepare for mathematics components of SAT, GRE and other entrance or aptitude tests. My tutoring focuses on building strong concepts, improving problem-solving skills, exam preparation and helping students gain confidence in mathematics.

Qualifications

PhD Candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Sydney. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics and currently work as a Casual Academic at the University of Sydney. I also have previous university-level teaching experience overseas. My mathematics background includes algebra, calculus, differential equations, statistics, mathematical modelling and applied mathematics.
