GradReady was founded in 2010 by a group of University of Melbourne medical students. Our original aim was to help students in their GAMSAT (Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test) Preparation. We found existing GAMSAT courses to be overly didactic, inattentive to differing student needs, and lacking in online tools.

Using our experience in education and IT, and leveraging the expertise of former lecturers at University of Western Australia and University of Otago, we founded GradReady, an education provider that is in sync with evolving educational philosophies.

By the end of 2014, our first program-GAMSATReady - had become the most widely used GAMSAT preparation program with over 1000 students each year. Moreover, we were able to help our students achieve many milestones, including an average rise in percentile ranking of 25 percentage points and 100% medical school admission rate for our 2014 InterviewReady Students.

We have since taken what we learned and expanded to also offer top level preparation courses for students looking to take the UMAT (Undergraduate Medical Admissions Test), utilising advancements in IT and technology to offer top level education.

Our tools and methods have been proven to achieve results for even one of the most
challenging exams a student will face – the medical school entrance exam.

The average GradReady student scored 63.1 and ranked in the 75th percentile of the 2015
March GAMSAT. The average GradReady student re-taking the GAMSAT improved from:
Score: 59.3 to 64.3 Rank: 50th percentile to 80th percentile. The improvement remained
statistically significant even when assessed using 99% confidence intervals.

Qualifications

All tutors have scored in the top 5% of the GAMSAT, most have scored in the top 1% in
their subject of expertise, and >50% have tutored or lectured at an university level.
