ONLINE TUTOR. In-person tutoring available depending on COVID-19 situation and restrictions. ~
I am 2019 university graduate, with specialisations in Immunology and Japanese and minor studies in Pharmacology and Mandarin Chinese. Currently I'm in medical school.

I'm available for both high school and university tutoring, both of which I've been doing for the past 6 years.

University:
- Japanese studies (up to and including JLPT N2 level)
- Immunology subjects - Pharmacology subjects (first and second year only)

Medical school: - GAMSAT (S1 and S2) for graduate medicine entry (70+ overall score and 90+ in S2). Please note I charge $80/hr for GAMSAT tutoring.
- Medical school interview preparation ($80/hr or $100/hr if combined with GAMSAT tutoring. If you would like a group interview prep session my rate is $60/hr per student for min 2 students, max 3 students.)

High school: - Science and health studies (Year 7 - VCE)
- English (Year 7 - VCE) - Japanese (Year 7 - VCE)
- VCE English Literature (raw score 44)
- VCE Latin language (raw score 46)

For all subjects I can provide extra external exercises, homework/study help, and assistance with exam preparation. I'm happy to work with you to create a tutoring plan working towards your goals over the longer term, or just for weekly check-ins to go over any problems you might have. I also do one-off sessions, or several intensive sessions for upcoming exams (such as during uni SWOTVAC). For GAMSAT S2 tutoring in particular I also offer essay corrections over email for at a flat rate of $50 (I give detailed feedback that takes me 1hr and will also answer any follow up queries, hence this rate).

I am based in Sydney and am currently offering online tutoring over Zoom, Skype or Google Meet. I've become experienced with online learning through my tutoring roles during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, and will tailor my approach to our unique circumstances.

Qualifications

Currently studying medicine in Sydney.
Completed a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts double degree at Monash (2019) with a distinction average.
Studied overseas in Japan (2016) and China (2019), made eligible by my excellent grades.
Successfully completed VCE with a high ATAR (2014).
I have been a private tutor for over 6 years for a large variety of students, both high school and university aged.

Rates

$60/hr. This rate includes study materials (as does my GAMSAT/interview rate) and general availability over email.
