Moreover, I have been appointed organist in residence at St Columba’s Uniting Church.
The lessons are specifically designed to outperform other piano lessons offered in the market, based on an extensive research on thousands of students in more than a decade. Various learning options are available. The primary goals are to build a solid foundation and develop my students as well-rounded musicians. The lessons are conducted in a professional and friendly manner.

The ultimate goal of my piano lessons is to develop my students as well-rounded musicians. Students will not only learn how to express themselves through various styles of music, but will also gain a solid understanding of music theory and aural skills. The piano lessons will be a step-by-step approach, paving the way for becoming a well-rounded musician and much more.
My lessons are specifically designed to outperform other piano lessons being offered in the market. Each lesson is carefully planned and tailored to suit students' age and technical level. The lessons are conducted in a professional and friendly manner.
The lessons will cover sight-reading, rhythm, aural training, music theory, scales and repertoire study. All activities will be introduced in an interactive way. Fun as well as a good basis for all music learning. Preparation for all ABRSM, AMEB, Trinity and HSC exams.

Music theory is beneficial for students to understand the language of music and think independently from the earliest stage of learning. A solid foundation of music theory gives students the confidence in performing different styles of music rationally and scientifically. As a student progresses, the connection between technical skills and musical knowledge becomes increasingly important, which is essential to a deeper appreciation of how music is constructed.
Music theory exam is a prerequisite for certain advanced level of practical exams held by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB).
