Experience

I have taught German to high school students in the International Baccalaureate program, and adults, from beginners to advanced level. Learning a language should be fun and with my help you can make fast progress and excel at your German studies!

I make sure that students understand how German grammar works: demystifying sentence structure, verb tenses, pronouns and prepositions. German is my mother tongue; my pronunciation is accent-free and I will ensure that you get your pronunciation just right. Tutorials are always tailored to your level of proficiency with your personal learning objectives in mind. I make the learning process an enjoyable journey!

You want to improve your German language skills?
One-on-one customized sessions will suit beginners as well as advanced levels. I encourage you to talk and build-up your confidence in speaking German correctly. Couples are very welcome - as a meaningful hobby or in preparation for emigrating to a German speaking country.

Learning German at high school and getting lost in grammar conundrums?
I will identify and address any weaknesses so you stay motivated, your results will improve! I recommend one tutorial per week with additional sessions for exam preparation, if needed. Extensive study material with explanations and exercises is provided via email at no extra cost. Teaching materials will vary from student to student, depending on interest and purpose. You are most welcome to try German as a stimulating hobby; an experience best shared with a friend or partner.

Beginners $50 p/h, Advanced $55 to $60 p/h
first meeting (1/2 hour) free of charge
first tutorial: special rate of $45 p/h for the first four tutorials (if paid in advance)
