I have been lucky enough to find my passion and that is teaching. My sense of accomplishment comes from seeing students lacking confidence and drive, achieve their goals. I enjoy winning the daily battles and modelling my attitude on the students. That is, "lets break it down and see what we are dealing with here". when students see that their BIG problem is just a series of smaller, achievable problems they tend to change their approach and attitude to the subject.

Each lesson is structured with different sections designed to maximise the students understanding of the content being studied. this is supported by notes, worksheets, online and interactive materials.

The cost of the lessons varies according to age, the difficulty of the subject and the distance travelled however discounts can be offered when purchasing lessons in bulk.

Experience

I have 29 years teaching experience in the NSW and VIC systems and have international experience in the iGSCE and the IB. I currently teach in the Geelong region at senior secondary level.

Qualifications

I have a B.Ed specialising in secondary mathematics.

Rates

I do not charge for the first lesson as it is usually a meet and greet to assess needs and
requirements. The listed rate of $40 per hour is the basic rate for year 7 and will increase from
there according to year level and difficulty. I offer discounts for payments in advance
and also for successful referrals.
