Experience

I am a highly qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher and Statistician. In my over 29 years of teaching experience I have taught Mathematics and Statistics from Year 7 to Tertiary Level. I also specialise in conducting Statistical Data Analysis and Reporting.

My teaching strategies for MATHEMATICS & STATISTICS are as follows:
1) I start by reinforcing the key concepts in a given topic.
2) Students are given the opportunity to apply the concepts to solve problems of varying difficulty.
3)Students are given a mock assessment to measure their level of understanding of the concepts. This assessment will be similar to the one they will be doing in their school.
4)Remedial work is undertaken to address any issues in understanding the key concepts.

Statistical Data Analysis
I take contracts to analyse data (from projects, surveys etc.) using various statistical software packages including STATA, SAS, R as well as MS Excel. A report which includes the description of methodology used and interpretation of the analysis results is produced.
